I have wanted to begin exploring computational pattern design for textile or digital media application for a while, and this is my first attempt at it. This is a procedural pattern that can be created with infinite variations. It's a simple concept, with squares, circles, and triangles being arranged in a pattern, warped and overlaid in random assortments of red, green and blue. Every assortment of shapes as a piece of the pattern is unique, with no repetitions. I wanted to create a pattern that reads as a pattern from a distance, but can be appreciated close up for its infinite variability.
All of the colours and shapes can be modulated
